Through this course i want to reach out to people who want to enter into electrification sector and develop battery packs for electric vehicles and other applications. You will learn about battery technology, components of a battery pack and their functionality. Also i will discuss about how to design a specific component or select a component for your battery pack and ensure that meets all the regulations of the industry. I will share some tests and materials that makes it easy for you to design and learn further for advanced knowledge.
This course is not restricted a specific engineering discipline. People from manufacturing, supply chain, quality can also learn about battery components and their functionality. About myself, I am working as a Senior Technical specialist in an automotive company based in UK. I have been working here from past 3 years. Prior to this , I worked as a senior systems engineer at Mahindra electric mobility for nearly 2 years.
I received my PhD from Indian institute of Science. I worked on State of charge, health measurement of lead acid batteries using inductive sensors. I have a bachelor's degree in Electronics and communications engineering from Sri Venkateswara university in Andhra Pradesh, India.
I like teaching and learning electrification technologies. In free time i enjoy Netflix and spend time with family and friends.
