Electrical power measurement is a method of measuring the power in a circuit, which is expressed in watts. The wattmeter is an instrument for measuring the electric power (or the supply rate of electrical energy) in watts of any given circuit. Three phase power can be measured with Two wattmeter method, three wattmeter method and one wattmeter method. The course will begin with the meaning of the three-phase system. Further, it will cover all the connection of three phase system, measurement techniques of active power and reactive power. The objectives of this course are to empower you to measure power in three phase circuit.
Outcome of This course
-Understand of three phase system
-Balance and unbalance system
-Connection of wattmeter in three Phase system to measure active and reactive power
