For those who haven’t started cubing and really wants to solve the a cube, I will help you understand basics of Rubik’s cube, the colors and specifications of a 3x3 cube, and how to solve it in the most efficient way as a beginner.
If you already have hands-on on a cube or know how to solve it, but feel its just not fast enough, this course have some tips and tricks to really improve your speed.
I picked up my very first cube, to just rotate and make color patterns. When it didn’t work, I unbundled many cubes and packed it again. Once it started working with just moves, I became more curious to understand the logic behind this. Then I realised, its not with accident that the cube get solved, but it takes a balanced careful set of moves based on algorithms. The art of balancing the eye, hand and mind is the most exciting part of cubing.
I will be teaching the beginner’s method but will have a few techniques that are of intermediate level, just so that you can solve it faster.

I am Advay Nair a Cambridge 9th grader at Trivandrum International School. I am a professional cuber. I solved my first cube in 3rd grade, but these last 3 years is when I got more passionate about cubing. My best solve would be under 5 seconds and my best average of solves would be under 15 seconds. I take interest in extra curricular activities such as cricket, dance and art. Over these years I have gained a lot of knowledge on cubing, and understood that it is not only about turning a cube, but to solve it in a very minimum amount of time.
