Creator and author of The Holding Space Practice, Carol earned her MA and BA degrees in Linguistics at University of Arizona and the University of Utah.
She published The Holding Space Practice book and workbook in 2016 and previous to that, an e-book called Homeschooling for Those Who Think They Can’t.
In the last ten years, she has organized and presented many workshops on topics ranging from homeschooling, self-education, parenting, energy work, aryuveda and yoga. She led a yoga retreat to Honduras in 2019 and will lead another one in 2021.
She has an online education website (HSP Courses: Growth Space) that is always under construction as she builds more courses.
She also writes articles for her blog: Carol’s Bucket Blog.
Part of her work with Holding Space Practice, is to encourage creativity as a way to process and integrate concepts into the mind and body. Her personal art form is to hand draw words, phrases and sayings she wants to make a part of her. She invented a system called “doodle coloring” which she teaches as part of her “Create to Integrate” course.
Carol is an Ashtanga Yoga teacher and shares her Holding Space Ashatanga Practice online and in her home studio. She has found a consistent yoga practice to be the most powerful healing tool she has. She loves to teach and encourage others to develop and maintain their own yoga practice.
