Hi I'm Johnny! Your friendly neighborhood Korean food enthusiast. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, I grew up in a Korean household with amazing home chef whom is my mother. I loooove eating and equally cooking food with big flavors. That's why I cook Korean food, all the dishes are so BIG in flavor. Growing up with my mothers food I grew accustomed to having delicious Korean cuisines which has contributed to shaping my profession today. Having also lived in Korea for 3 years, I know how authentic Korean food should look, smell and taste. Looking forward to seeing you in class!!
It's a good course, I would have preferred if the instructor took some more time each episode to explain why he was doing what he's doing. But if you're trying to make 'quick and easy' korean this is excellent.
He is making this look very easy in less than 5 minutes per video. I have watched the first five videos, and I seriously feel like I can cook any of the dishes he has done so far.

I love Korean food so much and this class is so awesome. I've learned how to cook some of my favorite dishes like kimchi (I love kimchi), bibimbap, bulgogi and yes , also the silken tofu soup I use to eat back in college (oh I miss that so much). I just found out there are some Korean supermarkets here in Bahrain and yes this weekend i'll check it out and buy me some gochujang and other stuffs. By the way can you also please teach us how to make the triangle kimbap (my fav is tuna mayo)? Thanks

My stomach is growling watching Johnny make Korean food. He is a very entertaining cook and I love his dog sidekick Lily, waiting patiently nearby. Gotta run to the Asian store and cook me up some Korean food!
