Hi I'm Johnny! Your friendly neighborhood Korean food enthusiast. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, I grew up in a Korean household with amazing home chef whom is my mother. I loooove eating and equally cooking food with big flavors. That's why I cook Korean food, all the dishes are so BIG in flavor. Growing up with my mothers food I grew accustomed to having delicious Korean cuisines which has contributed to shaping my profession today. Having also lived in Korea for 3 years, I know how authentic Korean food should look, smell and taste. Looking forward to seeing you in class!!

Needs more written materials (actual recipes to include ingredients and directions) and could benefit from a more clinical / professional approach... Feels more like I am watching amateur home videos of cooking rather than an actual cooking course... Also probably could have benefitted from not hearing the words "baby vomit" in the Curry video... As now if I ever try to make or eat Korean Curry I will be thinking about baby vomit... Also Korean Fried Chicken video seemed iffy as the instructor is drinking a beer most of the video and at one point the words "Getting Tipsy" flash on the screen; which makes me wonder if I am getting the best instructions as often "drunk or tipsy" cooking doesn't come out the best...
No proper recipes .. No consideration for the watchers or what kind of people are watching. Half the recipes use pastes and ingredients unknown and onexplation for them is given

Janet is fun and genuine. It would be helpful to have the proportion of ingredients, even for a seasoned chef like me . However it's not Janet's style & i get it- "no rules" 😁

Best cooking course on Udemy! The mother son duo is so cute and wholesome and the recipes are easy, straightforward and delicious! 5 stars all around!
