Some people say communication makes or breaks a marriage; that one of the biggest fixes for marriage is better communication.

But I say that a husband and wife can communicate until their ears are purple - but still remain unheard.

We may communicate all day, but with different:

• Prevarications (lying with good intention; avoiding conflict)
