I think it is a very interesting suggestion, that we could recognize a similar dynamic structure in our inner as well as our outer sphere of living.
In this course, I will take you through my vision of this make-up, a vision that is based on the psychodynamic theory of Sigmund Freud as Jacques Lacan has repainted and reformed it. This way of looking at things is very enlightening I believe, because it lets us at once understand our psyche and our world.
It will be clear that both are problematic as such. There is a tension that seems to be inherent in this make-up. A tension that may or may not have always existed, and may or may not be with us for all times.
At least in theory, I believe it is possible to point to the cause of the problem and in so doing try to make room for a plausible and who knows, achievable way of resolving the problems that we have been stuck with since our early days on this planet.
Now may be as good a time as any to embark on this road of healing, and a vision that is daring may be just what we need to get us out of a place we have been stuck in for way too long.

Hello. I am a clinical psychologist from Belgium. Ever since encountering the idea of the death of the ego in Eastern martial arts, I longed to combine this mystical understanding of flow and spontaneous living with the vision of health and healing encountered in my Western psychodynamic courses at the university. Thinking, reading and writing about this has led to a number of publications in which I try to propose a way of integrating Eastern and Western thoughts on harmony and wellbeing. It has been an exciting quest, the result of which I very much long to share with you in an easy and comprehensible way.
