Kirsten is a certified life & addictions recovery coach who specializes in helping and educating individuals and groups about the connection between mind, body and spirit – and how these connections play a role in lasting recovery from eating disorders, disordered eating, harmful body and food relationships, addiction in general, and self-love difficulties.
Her methodology is intuition-based, as she believes each person has a unique path to walk. However, in addition to her professional training, she has recognized some patterns through observation and personal experience in recovering from 15 years of anorexia and bulimia/binge eating. She found her own recovery through committing to working on herself from the inside out, and she encourages you to do the same. This journey is about self-mastery, discovery, unlearning, and courage.
She has designed recovery courses, mentorship programs and is busy writing her first book. She has been a contributor for Ballito Magazine in South Africa, has written mental health articles for Sounddex SA, created wellness courses on addiction and mental health for Momentum SA, conducted webinars for online schools such as TENEO and is an active member of the Connectable Life community in South Africa.
She aims to walk you through a journey of deep and often challenging self-discovery whereby you become the observer of your mind, leading you to make healthier choices for yourself and ultimately to experience joy in your life.
