Hi everyone,
Welcome to Sciatica Mini Course!
Sciatica is a group of symptoms often ranging from pain to weakness in lower limbs. Most people experience tingling or a heavy type of symptoms. In order to reduce pain and improve the mobility a variety of exercises are prescribed for the individuals.
In this post i have explained three simple exercises for reduce pain and to improve function in individuals with Sciatica pain. The first prerequisite is to make you aware of the pain whether it is radicular or aberrant type.
In the aberrant type of pain id perceived only during movement and at rest experience of pain is almost negligible, where as in the radicular type pain is constant throughout.
Before we start the course, let me introduce myself. I'm Nityal Kumar, specialised in musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy.
Why this course?
I'm my teaching and clinical practice, I have seen many suffering with #sciatica.
This particular condition was actually a group of symptoms and has many misconceptions regarding pain and pain related disability.
This course is designed to help, provide information related to Sciatica, it's diagnosis and therapy.
This course has additional information related to diet, ergonomics and other aspects of rehabilitation.
The exercises are designed in such a way that, they are simple yet can reduce pain for individuals easily.
Along with exercises, diet is an important one, ergonomic , walking, pillows etcc....
