Integrating ICT into the Australian Curriculum

Eden Carey is a Media teacher at Servite College, Tuart Hill, Western Australia. Eden successfully integrates Information Communication Technology into the classroom through the use of the iPad, Apple TV and the interactive whiteboard. She believes ICT resources help provide additional support in the classroom, adding engagement and enjoyment of the subject. In 2015, Eden completed her Masters in Education, Curriculum at Notre Dame University and is currently studying Mental Health Counselling at the University of Southern Queensland. The knowledge learned from completing her Masters and Mental Health Counselling assists her in further developing the relationship between teaching subject content, the ICT capabilities and catering for individual student needs.  

In her spare time, Eden lectures at Notre Dame University on Transforming Learning through ICT and has presented workshops on online ICT tools and iPad apps through Catholic Education of Western Australia, Educational Computing Association of Western Australia and at the Adobe Summit in Sydney, Australia.
