the background music is quite distracting and the accent can be quite thick at times that it's difficult to understand what was being said

The accent took some time to get used to. Fortunately, the slides helps. The music can be distracting and loud at times, and there is no engagement with instructor. Just a bit more than reading off the slides and ad-libbing as needed. The company analysis was the most worthy section of the course. I consider myself a novice, but apparently remembered a lot from my one business class and 3 accounting courses, so not a lot of overall new info, but the stock info in the last two sections were worth it. Also, it is free, so I would still say, if you know nothing, try it.
