What you'll learn
- Jewish Philosophy
- Explore an Ancient Jewish Text
- See the Talmud in Plain English
Description
This course is a quick jump right into a Ancient Jewish Text called the Talmud.
But instead of the usual hard-to-understand Aramaic and Hebrew languages going back 1500 years, everything is presented in plain English.
There is also a breakdown into digestible sections each with their own summary headline.
Each short lecture contains a few favourite excerpts packed into neat colorful chunks.
Enjoy this quick taste of the TALMUD.

Thank you God for your wisdom
I'm not sure this course is talking about The Torah or not, because I never read and know Judaism before, so I couldn't be able to tell it. If it does, then it is very good introduction and promote The Torah or Judaism to the beginners.
What, no explanations given....He is only reading what I can read by myself....He should begin by explaining the course and then present a short portion of the Talmud and explain how they would approach the passage in a Yeshiva. Then he could read another very short passage and ask us to analyze it and then he could give his answer and explain again how they would approach it in the Yeshiva between two students. ETC....or he could choose any other method of teaching, but just reading aloud with no explanation doesn't work for beginners...
