Hello everyone and welcome!
I am so glad you are here. Like many of you, I struggled with anxiety, stress, and my inner critic most of my life. My earliest memory of having an episode of high anxiety was about seven years old. My own personal journey as someone with multiple adverse childhood experiences and limited resources lead me to a career in mental health. I'm passionate about sharing skills and knowledge that enable individuals to take charge of the changes they wish to achieve.
I possess over 10 years of mental health experience specializing in anxiety, building healthy self-relationships, and mindful practices. My personal mission is to provide tools that empower each person that I encounter to put in the work that will inspire change for their life.
I earned a Master of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M Commerce as well as a Bachelor of Art in Communication Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Though the courses here with me instructing do not replace therapy or provide a diagnosis, these courses can jumpstart a journey to self guide and positivity impact lives, and working teams.
I am also an experienced and highly motivated speaker and educator. I assist individuals, groups, and organizations to increase effectiveness through training, consultation, presentations, and mini workshops. I support others in facilitating changes that increase quality of life with tools to manage and reduce anxiety and stress levels.
