He started his journey to the computer world with an ATARI 2600 game console followed by a Sinclair ZX Spectrum+ home computer. He made his first steps in programming with Spectrum Basic by making small programs and games. Later on he acquired an AMSTRAD PC1512 IBM PC-compatible and continued the journey to the PC world.
Succeeding in national school exams, in the year 1988, he enrolled to the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) - School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and graduated with a B.Sc (Diploma) of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
From 1989 till 2004 he worked as a programmer, analyst, network and computer engineer for various companies (IO System S.A, BNP Paribas, Freelancer).
In September 2004 he started working (and works ever since) as a Computer Science Teacher for the Secondary Grade of Education for the Hellenic Ministry of Education after succeeding in national exams from Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection (ASEP).
In 2012 he graduated with a Master in Education from the Hellenic Open University - School of Humanities.
In 2018 he graduated with a Master in Computer Science from the University of Thessaly.
He is interested in Educational Robotics since 2014. He coached Junior High School teams in 2015 for the National WRO Olympiad and in 2017 for Greek National Robotics Competition achieving 22nd & 24th place among 150 teams from all over Greece. He is a member of "STEM Workshop", a Scientific Association for Educational & Technological Innovation and Collaboration, a non-profit non-governmental organization whose main purpose is to provide information on issues of technology, engineering, robotics and programming to students and adults, as well as to promote the above issues in the educational community.
