Hello Peeps, I am Nabojit Kar an artist, instructor, teacher, content creator, PhD scholar and a YouTuber. From the time I have started painting folk arts of the various country was the subject that I did fall in love with. Overtime I am smitten by the beauty of water, clouds, sea, animals, flowers, and everything that is there in Nature nicely incorporated in folk paintings. I keep exploring all these subjects with different mediums like watercolor, gouache, markers, soft pastels and more. Although I work with many mediums, my heart has a special place for watercolors because there is a degree of uncontrollability in watercolours that draws me in and drowns me in it. You only need to pour the pigments in the water and they make their own magic. It is oddly freeing in a way, don't you think?
I am a strong believer of the idea that anyone can paint if you put an honest effort and for excelling in painting there are only 2 rules practice and frequency of painting. I did start my journey in 2015 and I would say it’s been calming, meditative, and even helped me a lot to improve my focus.
Across India in different states, I have conducted various workshops and the enjoyment I get when I work with fellow art enthusiasts is above all the happiness in the world. Art is all about spreading happiness, love, positivity, and I do express it with my bright and vibrant colors.
My passion for teaching stems from my obsession with learning. I am constantly learning new things and I can feel my life change immediately when I do that. A little over five years ago, I decided to teach myself how to make art. Learning changed the entire course of my life for the better and I hope it does for you too!
I believe in community over competition, slow living, earthy smells, and the Harry Potter universe.
Come, join me here. I can't wait to make art with you!
