Software Architect and Instructor
Hi I am Sally. I've worked as a software architect, coder and am a lifelong learner. Having worked for both large companies and smaller startups, I've been hands on with coding and designing and learning along the way. My passions include teaching and building cool apps and products with best practices in mind at all times.
Apart from work I have also volunteered to teach women and girls how to code with GDI ( Girl Develop It ) and Girl Who Code.
And I own company PowerToCode - which teaches coding. Happy Coding! and don't forget to have fun.
Vers basic and the intro repetition is to much.
You need to increase the audio.
Jose Luis Soriano Sandoval
fisrt of all is the audio, I had to volume up a lot to hear you because your voice volume was very low
the section 1 and 2 was good on content, that shows me all the basics to move on my system, but on the section 3 I felt a little lost, because you us e some commands and some things than you doin`t explain beafore and may with a better explanation of some commands or characters it would be more clear
the class 12 was the most confusing, you use very variables that you don`t explain and conditions, ok, you explain it, but not at detail for a person who was learning the terminal for the first time so I take a lot of time to understand it, thar class need to be the most clear becaus is the most difficult of this course
other thing is the video, many times you open thhe text editor, thar isn`t in the screen you record, is lost information
you need to add a classs of the text editor you use, I tried toi use it on ubuntu but it was confusing so I used nano, maybe you could use nano for your tutotials to edit text, it be more universal
and talkinf of universal, unix is universal, but on your tutorial I fell that us focused to mac so many times, yes, is recorded on mac and use a lot commands than ubuntu uses too, but in some actions, in some commands (like wich for example), I felt the tutorial is based on mac than a universal terminal, maybe you can change the tittle and add "based on a mac terminal" or do a more universal course
thanks you, I learned a lot things, but was a lot of other things than I had to learn to other sites to continue this course
