In this course, you will learn about the file format that is used for writing source code. The answer is not as simple as plain text, and involves encoding.
You will also learn how to compile and run applications using the command line. You won't need to become a command line expert to change directory and run a compiler.
It is a short course, but it is important to understand both topics before you can start programming with confidence.
