Welcome to my Udemy Course regarding Providing Lymphedema Care and Education through Outreach Opportunities!
Participants of this course will be able to identify the purpose and importance of lymphedema management for patients and/or individuals suffering from this condition! This course also contains valuable resources with research-backed information regarding lymphedema treatment, precautions and self-cares, home exercise programs, support groups, among many other things! A short quiz is provided at the end of the course to assess knowledge on the topics included within the presentation! There are five main areas of focus within this course - Introduction, Needs Assessment and Critically Appraised Topic, Occupational Therapy Relation, Learning Objectives and Artifacts, and Quiz/Final Acknowledgments. It is estimated that the course will take approximately 1 hour to complete. Please note, this course is created with a focus on occupational therapy frameworks, however the information provided will be beneficial for all including those living with lymphedema, caregivers, support person(s), medical personnel, or those just wanting to learn more about lymphedema! This course has been developed by extensive research, clinical experience, and clinical expertise from occupational therapists specialized in lymphedema care.
