Next, the principles of disease surveillance are introduced, where the uses, types, and steps of effective disease surveillance are detailed. Most importantly, there is a section dedicated to the actual investigation of a disease outbreak, following the CDC-Mandated 13 Step process. Each lecture provides you with examples, along with external resources and quizzes in order to solidify your engagement to the course.
