Franklin Graves is a licensed TN attorney, with extensive experience in the fields of intellectual property & entertainment law, technology law, music business, and new media law. He currently works for a publicly traded healthcare company. His previous experience includes Commercial Counsel at Eventbrite, Inc. and Corporate Counsel for Naxos Music Group. He also served as a Young Lawyer Council Member and held a Young Lawyer Fellowship with the American Bar Association's Section of Intellectual Property Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Association of Corporate Counsel, Tennessee Bar Association, and Nashville Bar Association.
His past experiences have included: intern with the Office of the Tennessee Attorney General, research assistant to Professor Loren Mulraine, law clerk for a Nashville-based boutique Entertainment Litigation law firm, intern for the podcast This WEEK in LAW, and legal intern at the Nashville Volunteer Lawyers and Professionals for the Arts (VLPA).
At Belmont Law, he co-founded the Entertainment Law Society and was elected by the student body to serve as the Secretary of the Student Bar Association for the 2013-2014 school year. He participated in the ABA's 3rd Annual Law Student Reporters Program in the spring of 2013 in Washington, D.C.
Franklin enjoys spending his free time exploring the Nashville food scene with his family and taking their pug to dog parks. Franklin received his B.A. in Journalism from Samford University in Birmingham, AL and was named Journalism Student of the Year in 2010. He received his J.D., with a Certificate in Entertainment & Music Business Law, from Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, TN.
