SAP Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI)

While SAP PP (Production Planning) is a SAP module, specially designed for integrating different department involved in production and manufacturing. SAP Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI) module on the other hand provides an integrated planning and execution tool for batch-oriented process manufacturing. It supports integrated planning of production, waste disposal, and transport activities within a plant The integration of plants within the company: Vertically by means of an information flow, ranging from central business applications down to process control Horizontally by the coordination of planning between production plants, recycling and waste disposal facilities, and production laboratories.
