Description
This course is a step-by-step guide for anyone aspiring to make a professional short film. Using one of my award winning short films Domestic Accident (2018) as an example, you would learn how to go from a simple idea to a finished film that you are proud of.
You"ll learn how to plan for preproduction, production and post production. I will be giving detailed production information on decisions made and why I made them; mistakes made and why some could not be fixed. Detailed insights and tips that would save you time and money when producing your short film
You"ll also learn about resource filmmaking and how it can be a powerful tool for storytelling

Course Requirements
You need to have a story idea which you hope to develop into a short film and a strong zeal to put to practice everything that is taught throughtout the course
What this Course is Not
This is an introduction course to making short films. Some level of filmmaking knowledge would be an added advantage. BUT It is not for seasoned film professionals who have been working for years

Luke's short film Domestic Accident won Best African Short film at the 2019 Pan African Online Film Festival and was also the opening short film at the Nollywoodweek Paris Film Festival in 2019.
His feature film A Break From Reality was screened and got 2 nominations for best nollywood director and best editing at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival 2019
Luke has also worked on non-fiction projects across documentaries and corporate films for brands like Guinness, Nestle, Ford Foundation, Heinrich Boll Stiftung, Unity Bank, etc
