It is a quick presentation I initially did in ALBANIAN for workshop training. I also delivered it as a presentation to a private audience, and then after translating it, I decided to make it a course.
It is a crash course for someone who wants to understand Social Media Essentials, and I also recommend my 1st-course Essentials of MARKETING since they complement each other quite well!
We discuss what it is and how I understand Social Media. Since the initial audience had little (almost no) knowledge of marketing and social media, I tried to simplify the concepts as much as possible.
What are the first initial strategic steps that we should take?
How do we define our audience?
On what platform should we start our social media presence?
What type of calendar should we do? How do we create a social media calendar?
How do we create effective content, and how do we recycle the content that we already have?
What is organic and what is paid content? What is the difference? When should we start spending?
What should we measure in our campaigns?

Ardian Kurtolli the Creative Digital Professional:
I was lucky to have a computer and access to games and applications of all kinds during pre-war Kosovo. That made my connection with computers natural since I was a young kid. By age 10, I knew Pascal and had Dos and Windows 95 Certifications. As a 13-year-old, I was also the publisher of the 1st e-zine in Albanian called "Dardania Nentoka Digjitale" which had a lifespan of only four issues since the political situation in Kosovo and the Kosovo War.
After the war in 1999, I joined Comtrade Computers as a technical assistant. Soon after, I was certified as a Microsoft Certified Professional and had two semesters at the Cisco CCNA Academy. Later, I advanced as a Product Specialist and Sales/Presales Consultant for Mobility and Server Solutions for the Fujitsu-Siemens Brand. In 2008 I switched industries since I felt that my creativity was left behind with too much technical work.
I started working as a Creative Director in Entermedia, and there we did magic for 4 years in a row producing over 84 Award-Winning Music Videos. In 2012, ZeroPozitive Publicis became my new workplace. I worked there as a Digital Marketing Specialist until May 2014, when I joined a new agency with a new team, "R&M Communications ".
My experience in the Tech and Entertainment industry makes me starve for innovations second after second. While in the position of Marketing Manager at Air Prishtina, I stabilized the brand by creating clear brand guidelines and marketing strategies (social media, email mostly), resulting in a new web redesign and automation of several marketing processes.
In 2017 I joined Solaborate LLC as a Creative Director, and together, we voyage the journey of our excellent HELLO products!
In June 2018, I joined the USAID Mission Kosovo as a Development Outreach and Communications (DOC) Assistant.
Since 2022, I have been living and working in Munich, Germany.
