Description
Storage and Warehouse system acts as a main contributor in the success of Logistics management. A company can financially save costs when effective implementation of these systems is done. Under this course, a comprehensive role of the topic has been discussed. Different types of storage systems such as Static and Dynamic- their structure, functions and applications are covered. An introduction and types of conveyors and packaging which are the base for warehousing structure are dealt. Various types of Warehouses are also embarked in this course. As a practical approach towards the concept gives a deeper understanding and makes it easier to remember the concept. A case study related to storage system design has been taken to understand its implications in detail. An assignment related to the above case study has been given for practice.
This course helps in understanding the concept in more elaborative way. Learners will be able to develop a confidence in this subject which will boost their knowledge. It will enable the learners to apply the concept when they work with Companies and have to handle the warehouse or storage systems.

Information was good, but had to keep going back and hearing videos several times to understand what instructor was trying to say due to the thick accent. Captions did not help because these did not make any sense.
