It was sometime hard to understand her or follow her. I thought there would be more creative ideas or print-outs. Some of her ideas were good, but I feel that the ideas and examples that she gave were of stories and ideas that were basis ideas that most teachers have done or heard of before. I feel I did not gain any new ideas from this program. She did okay, but not what I expected.

The concept elaborated by Ms. Veena Gupta are effective. They are easy to incorporate and get the attention of children.
The course is presented really well by Ms. Veenu. The downloadable resources in each lecture are very useful. I found the "Jar Activity" interesting & engaging and can be used to teach literacy & numeracy concepts like number names, nouns etc. Its a great motivational strategy used in the classroom. All the set ups used for Storytelling are very creative and props are attractive enough to get children attention.
Wow! Lots of info about storytelling and props.
Well presented course. All lectures are very informative & explained really well. The props are colourful & definitely a great way to get children attention. The set up, A Visit to a forest is interesting.
Wonderful course. She has explained how a story activity can be done after the children listen to a song/ rhyme. I really found the grade wise list of songs, rhymes & games very useful. Its interesting to know how concepts in Numeracy - Counting & Literacy- Weekday names can be introduced to children with the story "The very hungry caterpillar "
Wonderful course. I learned so much about Storytelling techniques & methods. Its interesting to know how many engaging activities can be planned around one theme, for ex. " The Very Hungry Caterpillar". She talks about the jar activity for teaching literacy & numeracy concepts.
The story - " Journey of a seed to a plant" tells so much about building a story in your own words using interesting , colourful props. It teaches children about Parts of a Plant, conditions for Seed Germination and how does a plant grow.
She talks about lots of hands- on activities around just one theme, for example if we are doing a story " Goldilocks & three little bear"
we can plan interesting activities after or before narrating this story.
I learned how use of attractive, colourful props makes the storytelling more engaging. The Jar activity is also a great strategy for motivating students.
course is amazing. She has not only explained imp techniques & methods of storytelling but has shown attractive props which aid in narrating a story.
I am going to create all these teaching resources for my classroom.
I learned how so many hands-on activities can be planned around just one theme, for ex - "Goldilocks & the three little bear"
amazing course. She has explained various techniques & methods of storytelling very nicely. I loved the way she talks about creative & colourful props made from sticks, paper, fabric, cotton & wood.
Her story- " The Journey of a seed from a plant" using handmade Kathputlis is just awesome.
