Hello and welcome fellow artists!
My name is Matthew Dewey. I have created many graphic designs in my life, but by far the best were created using ArtRage. ArtRage is one of the most useful art software in the world providing an array of useful tools that any graphic artist can benefit from. ArtRage will continue to grow in it's popularity, but despite this there are no doubt artists who struggle to use ArtRage to its full potential.
In this course I teach you how to use ArtRage, not just how to create a canvas and put paint on it, but also how to take advantage of more advanced settings which will no doubt lend you a hand in your artistic career. ArtRage is filled with these wonderful tools and using them is vitally important if you wish to create something with magnificence.
If you are interested in learning the interface and release your artistic talents this is the course for you!

Artist, Writer and Creative Mind
My name is Matthew Dewey. I am an art and writing instructor.
My first experience with art was of course in the early stages of my life where finger-painting a house was the equivalent of creating the Mona Lisa. With time I realized that my finger-painting prowess was nothing compared to my fathers oil painting. As the years passed my doodles became more detailed and my subjects more complex. I eventually struck upon portraiture in my last years of school. Never had I once considered doing portraiture, but upon trying it in class I had a knack for keeping the proportions of ones face as well as including plenty of detail. I found my passion through painting and drawing portraits. Some classical, through oil painting and some realistic, through graphic design and pencil drawings. It was a wonderful experience that I wish to share through my courses.
Secondly, my writing. My writing was truly a fantastic change in my life. Once again, in my later years of school I wrote my first novel. It was a spark that started a literary forest fire within my mind and short stories and concepts follows in step. I wrote more novels, competed in the NaNo WriMo, receiving an award for completing the task of writing a full novel within a month. My writing improved in quality and soon I was writing countless short stories almost every day upon writing a more novels, creating a series in which my style truly shined. I help beginner and experienced authors take the necessary steps to becoming fully fledged authors.
That is the story behind me and the courses I have created. If you are interested in seeing my works you can check Amazon for my books or social media for my creations. I have also created a podcast of reading my popular novels and short stories that you can listen to on my YouTube channel. I hope to see you soon!
The is a great survey course for ArtRage. It provides just enough information about all the capabilities and features of the application so that even a beginner, like myself, can tackle the advanced usage techniques of ArtRage with ease and confidence. Using this course as a foundation, one can open the Artrage application like a tin of biscuits and explore all its major functionalities and bend them to your own particular style of painting/drawing.
Overall, the lesson was very good and complete; The editing was poorly done in a few places, but overall like I said, I have a much, better idea of not only what the ArtRage program is used for, but how to use it as an Artist... thank you.
It is a very nice basic introduction to Artrage. However, I find the intro and outro music annoying and unnecessary (and it's a little too loud), and some times the video is not in sync with the voice over. If this were to be remedied it would be a very niche little Artrage introduction.
What a great introductory course. Most impressive, thank you.
Superficial overview of the main tools. Okay if you've never tried Artrage before. Nothing new if you've played around with it for an hour or so. No insight on how to use the tools creatively or artistically.
