notes: # udemy: time management 101 ## Introduction 1. planning your day doesn’t necessarily mean filling out all your available hours with tasks, and then ending up working all day. 2. it’s about setting the time for specific tasks at your optimum level. 3. the key is : finding the right moments for your different priorities. 1. you will find that you can actually accomplish more by working less time ## Outline your day 1. what does your every day reallly look like? 1. map out things that you cannot skip 1. eg: sleeping bathing, grooming, eating cooking, traveling 2. compromising your necessities can only lead to less productivity 1. ex: lack of sleep, or not setting time to eat 3. add time stamps and duration to all those things 1. eg: 6-7: personal hygiene, sleepvagera… that’s already 13.5 hours of your daily life ## your high and your low 1. the 80/20 rule: get 80% done with only 20% effort. 2. look at your outline now and figure out which times you feel the most energetic and refreshed 3. allot tasks that require more focus and sharpness during that time. 4. identify which time of your day you feel energetic 5. hiit or high intensity interval trainings. 6. our brain is designed to focus on single task 1. estimated length of human attention or ability to concentrate on continuously = 20 min 2. restore that focus by resting for about 5-10 min 3. take break, drink water, go to bathroom ## The truth about multitasking 1. focus on one task at a time ## Time management tools 1. your planner should have at least 1 page for each day. 2. when amy i going to do it? 3. if it’s not urgent you can schedult it ## pomodoro ## automate your tasks
