My name is Andreea Bivolaru.
I studied Computers at the Faculty of Automation, Computers and Electronics from Craiova, Romania.
I worked as a Software Engineer for about 4 years, yet my main interests were and still are in a variety of subjects, from psychology to music, from language to creative writing and from investigative journalism to esotericism.
I am constantly seeking to understand myself better and I like to draw comparisons between what I learn and what I experience.
I like to keep up to date on what is going on worldwide and I have to admit that I pay more attention to the social and political issues of the west than to those of my own country, yet with time they seem to become similar.
In the west people seem to be very polarized on many political issues and that made me wonder why the focus isn't on finding out the truth and instead it is on proving the other side wrong.
It made me ask questions like "Why are people so emotionally invested?" or "Where are the healthy debates that give multiple perspectives on an issue?" or "Why aren't people willing to engage in civil discourse?"
These are some of the things I've been reflecting on and exploring.
