knowing better knowledge of the nutrient value
I do not know how many of the slides are the Instructor's own work as I get the impression she is just reading from web sites. Images that appear on other websites are shown without accreditation.
Ways to lose weight are stated - and then students are told to go to other websites to check calories or exercises or units or calories etc.
Very few if any, link to studies.
Methods are suggested - eg meditation - without any mention of the downside or risks.
It seems to be assumed that all calories are the same, a calorie in = a calorie out, calorie cutting - lose weight and that BMR is fairly constant.
I dislike listening to Instructors without seeing them.
I dislike knowing little about the Instructor - her experience or credentials etc.
The fact this is free is irrelevant as one day this may become paid and anyway I have taken time to view it.
Here is how to lose six pounds in a month:
1. Go to bed earlier
2. Go low carb
3. Move more
4. Cut out sugar
We all know this so I was hoping for something different, entertaining, original, interesting.
This did not happen.
I have asked a few questions on the Q/A section of the course - the answers, when given, may be of aid to other students
10 months later, not one question responded to. So I actually watch the whole course and bother to ask questions, show an interest and the Instructor cannot be bothered to respond.
I have learned nothing new. Very basic stuff that can be found anywhere on the net. I guess that's the price to pay for taking free courses
