Worldview in missions is a course designed for people interested in working in missions cross-culturally. The course will utilize video, graphics, and downloadable training materials to help the students walk through an introduction to Christian Worldview. All professors have extensive overseas cross-cultural missions experience. Professors desire and are willing to interact with students.
This course is approximately one hour long. All lectures are video and graphics based divided into 10 short lectures. Videos are all downloadable and available for your use. We encourage you to watch all 10 lectures in order, but you may do so at your own convienience and pace. You may also pick whatever lectures you feel are most relevant.
This course will really help you understand different worldviews in order to more effectively communicate the gospel in a way that the listener truly understands. Our desire is to see truly transformed lives based on a complete understanding of the gospel

Missionary with IMB
Missionary serving with the IMB for the last six years. We've had missionary experience on the frontline, working in both rural and urban settings. We utilize oral strategies and have seen it as an effective tool for both evangelism and discipleship in a variety of different places. We now serve on a training team where we help provide resources and training to both national and U.S. partnerships and help coach a network of missionaries in effective partnership for the purpose of reaching their end goals - all for His name sake!
I find the explanations clear, giving me better understanding
It only scratched the surface of all the important things discussed. It didn't touch on the fact that learning the local language the people speak opens many of the doors to overcome the barriers mentioned here.

Thank you. Really enjoyed this introduction to Worldview in Missions. As a missionary trainer in Korea I see this as a useful point of reference for Korean Students preparing for missions. Korean subtitles would be helpful.
