good course to learn how to support people with sciatica
This is BY FAR the BEST Yoga course I have ever taken. The instructor is easy to follow and to understand. This is a WONDERFUL course!!!
Having a recent bout of sciatica / piriformis syndrome - bad enough I can't walk and am almost in tears (please someone just cut my leg/hip off for the first hour of every day) for months now, THESE positions (up the wall butterfly and figure 4s) are the first I can find relief with and actually stretch out my obviously tight hamstrings with. The same stretches seated or all the obvious others have not brought any relief up to this point, or have indeed caused more pain when attempting. Who would have though - duh, let gravity assist and give the (weak, overworked, shortened) muscles a break.
