Md Mahmudul Hasan is a Ph.D. Scholar at The University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. In his Ph.D. research, he is working on Medical Imaging and Artificial Intelligence.
Hasan has completed his Masters by Research Degree (MPhil) in Biomedical Engineering & Computer Engineering (2021) from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia. Formerly, he was a Lecturer of the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET), Bangladesh from August 2016 to January 2019. Along with teaching and research activities, he was actively involved with club activities and worked as founder Vice President at BAUET Automation and Robotics Club (BARC).
Hasan has been involved in various multidisciplinary research projects, including, Neuroimaging and deep learning, EEG Biometrics, EEG based emotion detection, robotics, and automation, and was awarded the "UNSW TFS Scholarship (2021-2024)", "Australian Govt. Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship (2019-2021)", "Prime Bank Scholarship (2012-2016)", "University Dean's Awards at KUET (2013-2016)" and “Joy Bangla Youth Award-2015” as one of the top 200 Young Scientists by Centre for Research & Information (CRI), Bangladesh. His research interests include Medical Machine Learning, Medical signal & Image processing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, and Automation.
Apart from his research activities, Hasan is a successful content writer & Youtuber. He loves coding, vlogging, cycling, hiking, and traveling..
