Instructor on Udemy
I am glad to welcome you all on my Udemy page. This is a wonderful platform, because it grands me a shot to share my experience about career change. I am planning to work here making courses for English learners and newbies in VideoEditing. This is something that I have been through during the last decade, so I have quite a lot of things to share.
I was born and raised in Ukraine. The desire to study English brought me to Kyiv National Linguistic University, which made me smart and confident enough to travel and work abroad.
After graduating in 2015, I decided to put my language skills to good use and started working as a teacher on language courses. I am always one to seek out new challenges and experiences, and soon I found myself itching to explore the world. So, packed my bags and set off to work abroad as an ESL teacher. It was Shanghai where I did CELTA course, which gave me an opportunity to teach adults all around the world. So working and traveling across Asia taught me that it is only you who can do something about your future.
After some time, I started to feel the dreaded career burnout. It was a tough decision, but I knew I had to make a change. So I headed to Canada, where I decided to pursue a new career as a video editor. It took me 3 years to make a decision about career change and now I have no regrets.
It wasn't an easy road, but I persevered and worked hard to learn the skills necessary for the new career. And boy, did it pay off! Of course, my journey has had its fair share of ups and downs, but nobody said that it would be easy to start from scratch again. I hope that all of you will enjoy the course learning the steps of professional transformation from the first day until your final goal.

Well, this lady is so lovely. She explains very well, drives you through her experiences, and shows you that you're at your time to change your life, especially if you feel no longer motivated and bored at work. I want to change my career and work on my own!
I do like it. You are right. It is not just for teachers who want to pivot their careers, but for everyone who got stuck.

Wow, I am so thankful to the author (Kateryna Maslova) for such a structured help. I’m a teacher right now, but unfortunately started to fill professional burnout, so this course is refreshing. I would call it a step-by-step plan of «painless» transition from just a teacher to a much more creative and flexible job, and of course better life. I will definitely recommend this course to my colleagues)
