While walking inside your maps, do you find that there's something lacking? do they feel lifeless, or empty? Then you need to learn how to make Environmental VFX!
Creating Environmental VFX can be a very complex task, but after finishing this course you will be able become more confident in making your own Snow and Mist VFX in Unreal Engine.
Inside, you will learn everything you need to know in order to make efficient, and convincing Snow and Mist VFX.
We will make some basic textures inside of Substance (Although there will be project files if you want to skip that)
You will learn how to make convincing Mist and Snow Materials.
After that, you will learn how to use those materials to create amazing Niagara Systems.
Lastly, you will learn how to place them correctly inside your map so it feels alive and threatening!
By the end of watching this course, you will understand Niagara, Materials for VFX and be able to create your own Mist and Snow effects using your imagination. Niagara is used in a wide range of features in game development, so this will be the first step you take towards your VFX career as a VFX artist in the video game industry!

We are UNF Games. A group of Industry veterans that has worked together in multiple indie and AAA titles.
We are currently a group of three developers:
Mao - 3D environment artist who has worked previously in Ubisoft. He worked on titles like Skull and Bones and Immortal Fenyx Rising. He started using Unreal Engine since 2012 and is an Unreal Authorized Instructor partner for Epic Games.
Ram - Expert programmer who has worked in both indie and AAA titles. He has worked on Imp of the Sun and in other AAA titles. He is currently working on Sonus Requiem, an original IP made in Unreal Engine 5. Ram is also an Unreal Authorized Instructor partner for Epic Games.
Guillermo - Expert VFX artist with a huge emphasis on fantasy style effects. His attention to detail brings you one of the most detailed VFXs results when following his tutorials. He started using Unreal Engine since 2012 and had worked in multiple indie game titles as a VFX artist. He is currently the Crative Director for Sonus Requiem, an original IP made in Unreal Engine 5

I have learnt a lot so far. The instructor makes little mistakes and that is why I am not giving it 5/5. For example, when writing names. He could also explain some functions like the Pixel Depth when creating materials.

good teaching
It asked me early in the course, after lesson 3, and since the asset mentioned in the video wasn't in the description as stated in the vid, it's left a bad taste so for. I'm still giving it a chance, but so far, disappointing.
