Dr. Mallavarapu Sandhya was awarded Ph.D. degree from National Institute of Technology Warangal (NITW) in the year 2023. The title of her Ph.D. thesis is “Design and Evaluation of Compact, Low SAR and EBG based Fractal Wearable Antennas for WBAN Applications”. Before joining Ph.D, she worked as an Assistant Professor at Chalapathi Institute of Technology Mothadaka, affiliated to JNTU Kakinada & as an Adhoc Faculty at National Institute of Technology Warangal for 5 years. She obtained MTech degree in Communication Engineering & Signal Processing from Acharya Nagarjuna University in the year 2013 and excelled in the field of antenna design for microwave, Millimeter wave applications in WBAN and Electromagnetic bandgap, Defected ground structures Design in engineering. While studying MTech, she got the opportunity to work on Shaped Beam antennas for wireless communication networks. She has provided guidance to numerous undergraduate students for their projects. Dr. Mallavarapu Sandhya has published seven (7) international journal articles as 1st author as of now, which are indexed under Science Citation (SCI). Besides, she has also published seven (7) IEEE sponsored conference papers as 1st author.
