A run-through of the first module of practice test 1 of the new digital version of the SAT. In this free course, there are 27 questions about different questions the SAT will ask of students. Some of these topics include the following:
linear functions
probability
finding the roots of quadratics
geometry
variable understanding
solving systems of equations
equation solving
standard form of linear equations
geometric factors of shapes
values in data sets
circles and equations about circles
unit circle, radians, and degrees
The x intercept and y intercept
Understanding of solutions of quadratic equations and the discriminant
conversion of units, including squared and cubic units
factoring
understanding how to read functions that are displayed graphically
Hopefully by the end of this video, you will be able to better understand how certain problems are done, while also becoming better accustomed to the new questions the SAT might ask. As you can tell, the digital SATs don't seem to ask multiple questions about 1 or more piece of information as it once did. All the other modules and practice tests will be posted soon as well. Also, the next course on the digital SATs will have about five problems for you to practice.
