I find joy in the intersection of healthcare and technology.
Currently, I am a Senior Digital Health Leader in the Canadian public sector, an Adjunct Faculty of Health Informatics at the University of Toronto, and the founder of HealthTechX Academy, which aims to create a global digital health coaching and mentorship platform.
Having worked in the digital health and health informatics domain globally for over 14 years, I've seen the profound impact technology can have on healthcare. I've met numerous patients who believe that technology in healthcare is such a boon, and I've also witnessed the frustration of healthcare providers grappling with complex systems that seem to hinder rather than help.
HealthTechX Academy was born with the idea of reducing the distance between technology and healthcare professionals by providing a global platform and community where anyone can continuously educate themselves in digital health.
With extensive expertise in clinical transformation initiatives and leading EHR implementations like Epic and Cerner at major public sector healthcare organizations, I possess demonstrated experience liaising with multi-level stakeholders and governance structures, including senior leadership teams. I have advanced proficiency in client engagement, digital health product design, agile IT project management, clinical needs assessment, analytics leadership and e-health strategy planning.
With a Master’s in Health Informatics from the University of Toronto and CPHIMS certified professional, I have a keen interest and commitment to continuous learning about digital health innovations, including emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Blockchain.
Acknowledged by the World Health Organization and advising the Canadian Government, my path is not just about personal development but also about mentoring future health informatics professionals and creating a lasting influence in healthcare technology.
