Description
Welcome to the Bohemian School of Law. I filmed this video a few years ago in Thailand. My hair has gotten greyer but the information is still just as valuable. Mediation is a skill that all entrepreneurs and business managers need to possess. Often, the subject matter of some issues may be so technical that it is better mediated by the litigants who understand the more acute dynamics involved, rather than by attorneys. Typically, a third party, the mediator, assists the parties to negotiate a settlement. Disputants may mediate disputes in a variety of domains, such as commercial, legal, diplomatic, workplace, community, and family matters. The term "mediation" broadly refers to any instance in which a third party helps others reach an agreement. More specifically, mediation has a structure, timetable, and dynamics that "ordinary" negotiation lacks. The process is private and confidential, possibly enforced by law. Participation is typically voluntary. The mediator acts as a neutral third party and facilitates rather than directs the process. It’s vital to define the conflict and be able to examine various avenues leading to resolution. It is also necessary to recognize not all conflicts are capable of reaching a final resolution. Both parties must be willing to communicate with each other to understand each party’s position. Be sure to take notes and develop an outline so as to develop a clear picture of how the mediation process works.

Business and Law Explained
We're not all born with a financial legacy and we all know that it takes money to make money. The trick is to use other peoples money by convincing them that your idea is going to reap a profit. In business, knowledge is power and thus allows those with knowledge and motivation to perform at their peak. Understanding business science and how the legal system works is the great equalizer. My name is Shane Patrick Irvine, and I have a Juris Doctor degree from Southern California Institute of Law and studied business science at the University of San Francisco. I was a business and legal editor back in the days of newspapers. As such, I had to write everything in AP editing style which is designed to keep everything at a seventh-grade reading level. That, is what I bring to the table, being able to explain complex matters in as simple of terms as possible. I always hated having to have a dictionary next to me when I would listen to some instructors. I prefer as simple as possible. These courses provide students with the same information taught in a traditional business college or law school. I recommend taking notes and building course outlines. I also recommend using the information to develop a business plan. The business plan should include a short mission statement, the who, what, where, and why with a management strategy and financial plan.

learning good valuable information
The course video is very old and shooting only his face for the 1.5 hours should be changed to more productive.
