Rick Barretto graduated in (cognitive) psychology from the University of California, Irvine, where he also studied philosophy, neuroscience, consciousness, statistics and did research on translational medicine. He is currently at the Pacifica Graduate institute studying Jungian Psychology and Mythology applied to Creativity.
For ten years, he's been looking into Longevity Strategies with some of the leading scientists and researchers in the field to better understand and improve our relationship with natural biological processes. He worked with a personalized Medicine company from a founding engineer of Skype and the former Executive Director of the Singularity Institute and at the intersection of technology and Public Health care solutions in India.
He has also a degree in Film and TV production and worked on several studio projects including artists like Clint Eastwood, Al Pacino, Frank Darabont, Chuck Lorre, among over 50 others.
In his spare time, he writes, studies classical piano, and reads everything he can get a hold of that looks interesting.
