Description
In this Six Lesson course you will discover why many people write and your own motivations to write; which will assist you in getting clear on your ideas moving forward. Learning how to conduct research, create outlines, writing plans and goal setting; all serve to provide a solid foundation for your writing journey. There is a short homework assignment at the end of each video where you are encouraged to apply the tools and tips outlined. There is also a downloadable Power Point presentation for all lessons which compliment the lectures. Throughout the course I mention an Online Writing Workshop Companion, this tool is not required to successfully complete the course. However, if you would like to use it, it is available on Amazon, just search my name (don't forget the apostrophe).

Jameelah Ra'oof, PhD (STS)
Author, Educator and Teaching and Learning Strategist
As a non-traditional learner, my career has been advanced through commitment, diligence and personal development. I convey this message of endurance and focus each time I teach, speak, mentor and write. No matter the pitfalls we may be faced with, there is always room for success!
Not only is Jameelah an accomplished college instructor and author of the widely used book, How to Survive Financial Aid. She has also authored several books in the genre of women’s fiction. She is versatile in her approach to writing. Jameelah currently conducts seminars on financial aid awareness and other substantial topics. She recently received her second Master’s degree in Applied Sociology from UT Dallas in the Fall of 2016 and is currently completing her PhD in Sociology at the University of North Texas. Ms. Ra’oof is a natural born motivator, whether it is through her books, on social media or in the classroom.
