it was fun and the songs were interesting. Desta went a bit fast sometimes, but overall her explanations were good.
The sound is very soft and also she rushes through the content, it would be great to get copies of the lyrics to keep track.
Beautiful teacher, voice. The songs I have heard so far are great. I was trying to learn Garota da Ipanema before finding this program. This is perfect. I have downloaded it from iTunes to learn . I also love interpretation to English.
Great job, Desta! Learning a language is fun, especially when you start singing along to the songs! I found the course to be very insightful. Desta was very engaged. She made it enjoyable. The quizzes were a great addition; and made the experience more interactive. On the technical side, the black and light colored font was hard to read on the screen for one of the songs. I can't remember which song, but it was maybe the 3rd or 4th lecture. Also, I thought I answered the quiz correctly, but received a contradictory error message. Can you please check on the following question? Chocolate/Question 2: How do you say 'to eat' and 'to drink' in Portuguese? It would be "nice-to-have" the following as additional resources: - Pronunciation Guide - English translations to the songs - As an example, it would be great to hear the instructor sing along to an entire song. That's about all I can think of for now. Languages through Music is a great concept and I am looking forward to learning more from Desta in the future. Obrigada, Desta, for sharing your knowledge with us!:-) JT
