Hello! I am Jaiya and I am delighted to share my journey with you. My passion for personal development, especially in fostering meaningful relationships, stems from a deeply transformative experience that reshaped my entire outlook on life.
I grew up in the vibrant city of Toronto, Canada, and pursued my business degree in the beautiful state of California. Life was moving along a predictable path until an unexpected twist turned my world upside down. As a young, healthy woman who enjoyed staying active, I never imagined that a routine day would change my life forever.
One day, I began to feel an unusual tightness in my chest. Assuming it was just a minor issue, I visited the doctor. To my shock, I was told that I needed open-heart surgery immediately. The news was devastating and surreal, but it was only the beginning of a harrowing journey.
During the surgery, complications arose, and I went into cardiac shock. My heart stopped for four minutes in the ICU. In that brief but eternal moment, I had an extraordinary near-death experience. I felt a profound sense of peace and saw flashes of the happiest moments of my life. It was as if I was being given a final review of all that had mattered most to me. I came to a serene acceptance of death, ready to let go.
Miraculously, I survived. Waking up from that experience, I was a changed person. I realized with startling clarity that life is fragile and fleeting. Every breath, every heartbeat, every relationship holds immeasurable value. I understood the importance of living intentionally, of cherishing every moment, and of nurturing the connections that truly matter.
This profound awakening inspired me to dive into the field of personal development. I wanted to share my story and the lessons I had learned, hoping to inspire others to live more fully and love more deeply. Life is too short to be lived on autopilot. We must be present, be grateful, and be intentional in our actions and relationships.
